More to the point I did not look for a sub. I am hosting these games but that does not make me responsible for every players turn in every game, you know? If someone doesnt think ahead and get themselves a sub then they just stale and thats the way of things. I'm not trying to be a hardass here, I just other demands on my time and you have to draw the line somewhere.

well, i believe it was unforseen circumstances, not something tom could have planned for - nevertheless, it needs to be clear that you have nothing to do w/ finding subs.

Re: A Brief Pause
Quick poll, do you guys like sending and recieving PMs in character or out?
P.S. Word is Cast is out for the whole week. Can he be reached by e-mail? We might want to try and find a sub for him.

Re: A Brief Pause
He's at a cottage, so I doubt any of us can get in touch with him. I prefer using IRC to negotiate more than anything else, since out of game PMs are unreliable and in-game PMs are so slow.
In other news, I'm sad to see Ulm go down. Hopefully, they'll spend more time being diplomatic next game.

Re: A Brief Pause
I personally have found the PMs here to be quite effective, and you have a record of your conversation. But the question was more geared towards content rather than method. Do you like communicating as some sort of actual member of your realm (God/King/Diplomat etc.) or as the addicted Dom II player you really are?
Thats too bad. I don't think he has a sub in either game does he?

Re: A Brief Pause
Ulm practiced zero diplomacy this game. You can all see the results of no diplomacy.
