To be honest the pre-order carrot is pretty dam small.The game is very expensive.

The $5.00 increase over the price of Dominions 2 is due primarily to the manual. It is projected to come in at 200 pages, wheras Dom 2's manual was 134 pages. Because of that, the preorder discount is $7.50 rather than our usual $5.00. We weren't thrilled about raising the price, but the manual and lack of documentation was probably the most lamented weakness of Dom 2.
