OT: The old faces are returning!

Ah yes, Tradewars, with the "Ferrengi" space pirates from "Ferrengal"... the things they do to (somehow successfully) avoid lawsuits

Then there were the inevitable players with godlike trade empires but godawful names like "Dickweed" (an actual one I still remember!

) or some sort of wacko "hacker's guild" style name with like 300 punctuation characters and special "guild markings" in several colors, along the lines of "--==([[TH3 |<i||4z]]) bobafett69 ==--"

But yes, it was fun

Even when "Dickweed" blew up my wimpy (albeit juicy) "CargoTran 3000" in his "Imperial Death Frigate of Warp Interdiction and +10 to Stealth and Dark Resistance" or whatever it was

I kept on getting blown up every time I got established (Planet or two.)

Ruined the fun. Still remember the game fondly, just not the powerlevels.
