First Australia and now Texas. Well, I guess it's getting closer to Canada. And we're the distributor!!!!

Re: SE5: It\'s out and yet it\'s not
I just called all the EB-Games and Game Stop stores in SE Michigan and none of them have the game in stock and none of them have the ability to order it in either. It could have been pre-ordered but once released there is nothing they can do. They all claim that, other than pre-orders, they just get what the company ships them. ebgames.com shows none in transit to the stores as well.
Sounds like the best bet is to mail order it.

So much for switching to SFI for a retail presence.

Re: SE5: It\'s out and yet it\'s not
SFI are crap.Their website has nothing about ordering the game, while at the same time Aussies are playing with the game now.
The lack of any decent marketing plan has been typical SFI.They have done nothing,I recall some small gamespot preview many years ago.Very poor.

Re: SE5: It\'s out and yet it\'s not
Let's see, how much would mail order cost? $39.99 from EB Games USA, + handling + tax. They don't say how much the handling and tax are.
International shipping to Canada (3-5 business days) is $14.99.
And there will be a duty charge to bring it into Canada.
Then there's the exchange rate to Canadian dollars.
It's probably going to be somewhere in the $60 - $70 range.
I'm going to wait to see if it's in stores at the release date of October 16th.

If only that were true. North American Free Trade Agreement is subject to tariffs and duties whenever one side feels like it. Take a look at how the US decided to screw Canada over with our US exports, such as lumber and beef recently. NAFTA is meaningless, since it's violated whenever either side wants to. Duties and tariffs are charged all the time when it shouldn't be.

Re: SE5: It\'s out and yet it\'s not
I got a call, it will be at GameStop this afternoon. Hurray!! NA Texas location.
This GameStop also said that they carry few computer games. I looked around in the store, but could only find XBox, and other Console type games. I saw no PC ones, let alone an Amiga game.
