Es gibt eine Anzahl von Deutschen hier, und einige sind sehr wichtige Mitglieder der Gemeinschaft, aber sie sprechen (aufgeben?) englisch.

There are a number of Germans here, and some are very important members of the community, but they speak (post?) English.
