Re: And there was much sadness in the land...
It would be incredibly disappointing if this game ends.
Does anyone know Strages? Perhaps we can get the game files and have someone else host it?

I'd be willing to take over hosting.

Still no word on Strages, eh? Kind of a bummer.

Re: And there was much sadness in the land...
Maybe some of you guys will post in the Game Server thread.

Personally I think Shrapnel should build and manage a multiplayer server. One well built server would handle ALL multiplayer game currently being played (and more).
I don't even want to know how many hours I put into this game... most in the build up phase to anticipation of what was to come. And now its possible that it was all for nothing. Very sad.
Of course I'm still hopefully Strages will return... even if its a week from now.

Same here Maltrease, agree with you 100%. This has happened in 2 games I am in at the moment, this and cradle of dominion. Putting 40-50 turns play into a MP and then have them just end is sad.

Re: And there was much sadness in the land...
what if all the current players send their 2h files to someone like a PBEM?
shouldn't it host normally?
