astral vs astral
and if a mage has more astral than the other has higher chances. don't remember how much more do you need to have zero chances of loosing.

If you are fives levels higher than the attacker, it should be impossible to lose.

yeah, but if you only have 5 levels more it's possible to tie, and with that much of a difference you're probably going to view the killing of the other mage as little consolation. It's only a 1/36 chance of that happening, though.
You need 6 more to be 100% safe. I believe boosters and communion don't count, either, it's just the base skill of the two casters.

Er, yes. You see, I only use one hand to do my counting, so I hit the maximum and said five.
