Sorry, but I'm giving myself a 26hr extension. I just got back from work an hour ago, and I have no hope of getting my turn in tonight.
We might want to consider going to 72hr turns - I've gotten to the point where it's difficult to get in my turn every time around.

I have no objection to extending the timer. While I don't need it quite yet, I probably would be asking for it in a couple of turns time myself.

Actually, I did read that one before, foodstamp, but it apparently had sunk quite deep into my memory, as I didn't make the connection. The Rhino and especially the 250pd guy I remembered better, the rest are new to me. (So thanks Ich, for expanding my horizon  )

Sorry, but I've reset the server to 50hrs again. I just can't see how I'll be able to get to my turn before Sat morning.
I'm open to having my position replaced, if that'll help get this game rolling again.

Well, if this is just a busy week for you, and setting the game to 72h will solve the problem for you afterwards, I at least se no problem. (And it would be a shame to replace one of the bigger powers in the game)
If, on the other hand you think you just won't be able to find the time anymore for a game this size.... well, that's your call then I'd say.
