Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
Tig, I'm sure it will be no cake walk I have serious attention span issues with anything this complex. Things like forgetting to move ships or build colonizers.
None the less, I do suggest a turn limited game where the score is not visble to us as the playing is more important than the outcome. (in my ideal world)
To bad we cvould not link up when you were in Boston. If you think you might come again, let me know, I"ll send you my phone number.
Sleep well.

I disagree Guffin, may be not a cakewalk but more of a noodle surprise perhaps??
[QB] I have serious attention span issues with anything this complex. Things like forgetting to move ships or build colonizers. [QB]
Of course you have attention span issues, so would I if I had as many women 'on the go' as you do
[QB] None the less, I do suggest a turn limited game where the score is not visble to us as the playing is more important than the outcome. (in my ideal world) [QB]
Guffin, for the first time ever I think, I agree with you. I would like our game to be brought to us by the letter 'H' and the number '4' if you get my drift - given the lack of time I have to play this superb game, I wouldn't want any power hungry despoiling unchivalrous machiavellan lunatic, geriatric, Canadian or otherwise to spoil the show
[QB] To bad we cvould not link up when you were in Boston. If you think you might come again, let me know, I"ll send you my phone number. [QB]
Will do, I spent the time in some lawyers office so didn't see anything of Boston other than a sea food restaurant that looked as if it had seen better millenium, still the cod was pretty nice
I hate spending time with American lawyers, they always go on about how they earn about 10 times more than us european lawyers - in fact, one of the best things about my trip to AZ was when a large bottomed bin dipping US attorney fell off the back of the tour truck into an ice cold river in canyon de chelly, me and the navajo driver laughed so loud our bladders almost burst
[QB] Sleep well.[QB]
I am not going to sleep, it is midday here and too much work to do but still, I am really looking forward to Madrid, great city, lovely people, great food and superb wine
Still, I will miss my chicken and rib barbecue combo, glass of poison and watching the sun devils at Cooper'stown in Phoenix

Any day I don't learn something is a bad day. I had no idea what the "drift" you passed me ment. I wonder how many of us Americans do.
Please note: I do not own a telivision and if I did, I would not watch it.
Any one else able to catch Tigs "drift"?

Hmmm, this makes me wonder further, as you don't own a television, I would assume that means you don't own a video recorder therefore, "circling the wagons" is something of YOUR OWN INVENTION and not learned off some spurious video produced in the San Fernando valley!!
Cue Mac dropping his tube of anusol and having a mild cardiac!

Re: Gryphin and Growltigga Thread
Er: I here by refuse to interpret your comment. I will state for the record that I belive I first saw the referance in my teen years watching TV or some movie. I have a superb command of the American language and was able to derive the meaning of the phrase when seen in the context that first started this subject. I must also note that the "Gryphin Position" is indeed one of my own design. My dates can confirm that for you. One might even share a decription if you like.
