Re: Veturi - LA (Looking for Players)
It's looking more like not being able to send off my pretender by the time I head off to work. I get off work by 10 PM, I have a pretender already in mind, though I have to factor in the CB mod's significant change to the chassis. I should have one out by midnight tonight, 1:00 AM at the latest. Sorry for the delay.

Re: Veturi - LA (Looking for Players)
I've got a pretender designed, but I'm afraid I must ask a couple stupid questions.
Should I password protect my pretender, and where do I upload my pretender?

Re: Veturi - LA (Looking for Players)
Yes, you should password protect your pretender. If you don't someone just might decude to make your turn, and be able to do it.
Use the "Connect to a Dominons server" - command and insert the IP address and Port number given in the first post.
Then you just click on atlantis and upload your premade-pretender. (you can premake pretenders in the "Game Tools" - menu)

Re: Veturi - LA (Looking for Players)
Thanks. It turned out I was confused because when i only had the one, it wasn't as obvious as when there were two.
I've uploaded my pretender.
So.. I don't click start, correct, and the game name is laventuri? I needn't do anything else yet except keep an eye on the thread for gamestart?

Re: Veturi - LA (Looking for Players)
Correct. Just sit on your hands until the game starts.
Didn't quite make it home last night, but trying to get there tonight. Not sure how many have uploaded yet but if everyone is ready when i get home, then ill start the game.

Re: Veturi - LA (Looking for Players)
Just got back home and server is up again.
Lightning hit the powerlines yesterday and took the city down for an hour or so. After the third time the power went out my UPS decided that it didnt want to play anymore.
Also try to use the IP if you cant seem to get a connection. dominions3.dy.fi is setup with dyndns service so its far from reliable and i only have it up just so people can acces the server better in blitz games and such.

Re: Veturi - LA (Looking for Players)
Stupid question. I'm joining OutRiders in addition to this, and they're both network games. Is there a way around having to reenter the addresses and ports each time I want to play a turn?
