Re: Map: Ringworm
Liking it,
75% gold/75% production, indy 5, sites 75, easy research, vs 5 impossible AI, starting provinces 3, is very fun. 70% randomized

Re: Map: Ringworm
Looks good. Next step is to make it huge to make it perpetuality-compatible

Re: Map: Ringworm
Been playing it a bit, and I still like it.
Definitely a king of the hill type game, very very difficult to hold your line and have the resources to attack someones land without getting cut off. Everyone's main armies are bouncing around the middle which is a good time.
I think if it was expanded it would be fun to have 2 nations start per spoke, then they have to decide to ally and rush to the middle or knock each other out first.
Also think it would be cool to have the middle 7 provinces definitely randomized. Kept themed but with huge GANs with lots of troop/leader randomizations for replay. For instance a list of 20 leaders with @6 or something, 20 groups of troops with @6, item lists, etc.
Liking it, but having difficulties actually winning with self imposed limitations. (no SCs beyond my starting epic hero, if the hero dies I can summon 1 more till I can mummy him, no const beyond lvl 4).

I think that the map editor would make my eyes bleed by the time I pegged neighbors and terrain by hand for 1500 provinces.
Thanks for the positive feedback folks!
Glad you are enjoying it. I have enjoyed a couple of quick games on it myself.

Re: Map: Ringworm
Yup, and for a less annoying game get rid of teleport spells as mentioned and to save real annoyance get rid of remote summoning spells... gawd this most recent game is annoying. Everyone push to the front! Except you guys, you have to clean out the crap summons that can beat 20 jotunheim PD somehow. Might as well stay up there, pythium is having a field day.

Re: Map: Ringworm
An idea for an easier perpetuality sized Ringworm would be just 10 of those Ringworms, and then connect each of the Ringworm centers to an eleventh, smaller Ringworm. And stack all those water nations into one Ring hehehe.
That would make 60 nations. Hmmm, I guess we can drop LA Rlyeh and LA Ermor into a twelfth tiny Ringworm by their twosomes wahahahahahaha.
