Re: EA Atlantis hero
Maybe a 'crazed' Basalt King that has visions of the star falling and the Starspawns of R'Lyeh waging war on their empire? He may have a following of believers, while most of the atlantians think he is a crackpot.

Re: EA Atlantis hero
Atlantis can get Father Dagon as a Pretender, so I think at least EA Atlantis should get Mother Hydra as a national hero!
Iä! Iä!
EDIT: And basing on Salamander's "crazed Basalt King" idea, the Basalt King hero could be a crazed worshipper of the falling star who causes unrest, turmoil and/or faith to lower in the province it's in and gets freespawn, something like mad Atlantian worshippers.

Re: EA Atlantis hero
I think an Atlantis hero should be a mage: the recruitable commanders have more than enough stats. The mage could be based on something like the gatherer of drowned sailers and have 2 or 3 death and 1 astral. This would help with magical diversity.

Re: EA Atlantis hero
The gatherer of drowned sailors bit is Fomorian territory for reasons that will become apparent with the next patch.

I guess that would fall into the category of "Hint, Hint".
By the way, I have seen two or three references around the forum to the progress page of the next patch. Where is this progress page?

Re: EA Atlantis hero
*casts Celestial Chastisement on Edratman*
The progress page is at http://ulm.illwinter.com/dom3/dom3progress.html
There is also a link to it at the top of the first post of the bug shortlist thread.
The reason why it's Fomorian territory is a matter of thematics rather than anything else. There is no such hero that I know of as yet. Whether one appears will be up to Kristoffer.

Re: EA Atlantis hero
It's worth noting that as far as the number of entries/additions on the progress page goes, this patch has more of those than all the previous patches put together, though the earlier ones contained fixes to a number of game-breaking, crash-to-desktop level things.

Spell failed because Edratman has an unusally high MR because of his large lead ***.
I still think it was a good idea for a water nation hero.
Thank you for the link, there are a lot of cool looking additions on it. And a thanks to the dev's for their continuing efforts to make the game even better. And a second hearty thanks to the dev's because they are doing all this improvement to the game for free. Every other developer would issue something like this as a $29 expansion pack.
