if you use my SystemNames file, you will get stars names of real stars in our galaxy including sol. If you wnat to create a map use the map editor and you can pick from the name list as you create the systems.

Would be kewl to create a galaxy map of, perhaps, our local region of space using the aforementioned (as well other) star systems in it.

Maybe I can find some astrological resources on the internet..

tnarg, check out some astronomy magazines and books, I used to have one that had pages in it for the complete sky both northern and southern hemispheres and a list telling how far the stars were away from us and much more. Check you local library.

Most of the stars in our galaxy are not even visible to the naked eye, much less named. What you see looking at the sky are the relatively close stars. But that's OK for your purposes. Just don't get the idea that you are conquering an entire galaxy in SEIV, no matter what the manual says.

I live in the city, so my universe is quite a bit smaller than people who live out in the rurals.
