Ok, luckily I was able to check from another computer. The server is indeed up, the issue seems to be related to my computer, probably firewall settings or some such.

Newsflash! a peaceful ermorian trade and religious delegation was brutally and unprovokedly attacked by a vicious band of degenerate monkey men. the holy half-human corpses of our peaceful nuns were not even disposed of with the proper ceremonies. this is an outrage to all decent and civilized peoples!
