After 1.58 patch

I tried to play my first SEV PBW game a few days ago. The system wouldn't take my password, and I gave up after a while.

It's very likely that I just didn't type it in right, when I created the empire or when I joined the PBW game, despite writing it down, or I sent the wrong one at some point, or something like that.

However, if it happens to someone else, we should send a bug report to MM.

I have sent my info to Aaron, e-mailed Captain Kwok and posted on two forums. I kind of sense PBEM games are not that commen.

It's quite possible it could be the incorrect checksum bug. The way you updated to v1.58, it should have worked ok.

I guess my five PBEM games are in a holding pattern until next patch then. Or any new multi player games.

I reinstalled SEV and patched to 1.58 Processed games with out plrs and now they can be loaded again. One turn of cleanning up AI mess for all the changes they made.

I had a 'Incorrect data files' problem when I tried to load a BM1.09PBW game. I found out there was a small change to the mod, and after I downloaded it again it worked ok, so perhaps you have the older BM1.09PBW version like I did which is not compatible with the current one used on PBW.
