having trouble launching the server command-line...can anyone help?
"D:\Program Files\dominions3\dom3.exe" -S --port 65001 -h 24 -q
When I double-click the shortcut I get...nothing. What am I missing?

You should rather say what you expected to get. At the moment, you just set some options. If you want to straight launch a networked game, which you could do from the main menu as well, then at least the game name is missing. |

yes, i want to straight launch a networked game, so the server will restart automatically if i have to restart the machine. where does the game go, after -S?
as it is, nothing launches at all...no dom3.exe, no nothing.

Please try opening a terminal window and type your command there so you can see error messages.

Under Windows, the game creates .txt files with its output. Look for them after you click the shortcut. Look at them. Fix. |
