Assuming SE4 doesn't crash because the turn numbers are too high before that. Even with a sphereworld totally full of population, that would take a while.

What he's saying is that the turn counter is likely to be only an integer number, and if you go beyond 65,536 turns it will cause a range check error.
That would put you into game year 8953.6, and real life year 2050.

Well, SE4 doesn't like REALLY high numbers.
I figure once you hit around 64k turns- around year 8800- SE4 MIGHT crash. Stress might, I'm not that nuts. Haven't tried it.
