Fires from the Sky killed a bit less, I think. They do 15AN damage and I don't think it sums up from several castings. But yeah, it should have killed like 60-80% of your mages, but no harm to angels, tartarians, etc. And you still have a lot of mages that you can teleport

And no, Tartarians are much much easier to kill than Seraph [Seraphs biggest vulnerability is Magic Duel though].
