Look, no offense, but I'm getting tired of waiting on this game. I offered host; I'm still willing to host. I don't know how people get the ip address to resolve to a name - but I am willing to setup a server and distribute the ip address.

I'll wait a few hours... but if I get into another game I'll probably just drop.

I'm not offended, and it certainly is very unfortunate that now that we finally started the game is down again. I don't make demands about hosting this game, it's just as a service for secretperson who can't do so himself. If the players are cool with it, then feel free to host the game yourself instead. I think that would be best for the game at this time.

I can't give you the game files, though, as all the backups are on the server which now has gone unavailable. As far as I understood Gandalf, no data is lost, but it's unavailable at the moment. What I could do is give you the pretender files and the email addresses of the players and then you start the game anew from scratch. Since we just started, I don't think it's too much of a problem - or did somebody get some awesome hero that he is going to miss if we restart?

Ich, I appreciate the offer. Why don't you forward the pretender files, we can get this working faster that way.

Even better.. zip em in one file... so I can unzip em.

in that case im going to take the opportunity to fix my pretender - where should I send the new pretender file too? =)

I DID get the nice crutch-old guy hero on turn 2 and he is pretty nice but that's okay.
