I still wouldnt feel right doing it for my pretender (which I tend to think of as being me) but I can see it for favorite support units. Mages, healers, maybe a prophet.

I can tell none of you are old married men.
If I told my bigger half that I named a pretender for her the best I could hope for is a look of snide derision combined with a chill factor that would permanently erase Abyssia, all 3 eras, from the game files.

I'll occasionally use my wife's name for a Pretender. Usually the Great Sorceress, but yes, I've already named the Great Mother chassis after her, and yes, with her knowledge.
We've been married going on 3 years.
