Re: missed turns
Wait, what? I've been set to AI?
Okay, I'm putting this and Figment up for substitutes. If I don't get "turn due in six hours" notices, I often stale, and miss out on fun stuff, and get !
*deep breath*
Don't worry, I'm not mad at any of you. Rollbacks would be nice, but I suspect that that's too much to ask.

Re: missed turns
A rollback? That should likely never happen in a mp game involving several people. Traps have been laid and sprung. And you cannot lay the same trap twice, since a card thrown on the table cannot be picked back up.
Once, in Alpaca, in a decision i strongly disagreed with, there was a very serious replay bug event involving llamabeast, the game host and another race(not me). Because Llamabeast benefited greatly from the battle replay bug, he decided to rollback the turn. He was being a nice guy-or so he thought.
Regrettably, there were several other players in the game also at war, and with the advantage of a do over, the losers of those battles were able to rework their battle plans.
In any event, that is the only rollback of which i am aware, and it was due to a major bug.
I have no objection to a sub being found for Ctis, as long as it does not delay the game. Jotunheim's position is hopeless and he should just be set to ai.
However, i do not mind dryunda playing ctis. just do your turns please.

Re: missed turns
This is the games webdir
http://game.dom3minions.com/games/Fallacy
and this is the games stat file
http://game.dom3minions.com/games/Fallacy/stats.txt
Statistics for game 'Fallacy' turn -1
Ermor played this turn
Pythium played this turn
Man is computer controlled
Agartha played this turn
Caelum played this turn
C'tis didn't play this turn
Pangaea played this turn
Jotunheim didn't play this turn
Atlantis played this turn
R'lyeh played this turn
Eriu played this turn
Man is set to AI. Ctis and Jotunheim say they didnt play this turn. That means that they are still set to active players but didnt send a turn file.
Im asking SHOULD they be turned to AI?
(if they still want to play then thats fine)

Re: missed turns
Jotunheim should be set to AI. Since C'tis is here now, I would say no, leave C'tis player controlled, as long as he will do his turns. Next time he stales two times in a row he is out.

Re: missed turns
As C'tis is Agartha the Benevolent's vassal, it is Helena's choice wether the C'tis chieftain should be beheaded or not. C'tis was loyal throughout the wars, so Helena decided to let him live, but commands him to give his orders in time.

Re: missed turns
I have no objection to Ctis being given a 2nd chance. But if Ctis stales 2 turns consecutively again, there should be no discussion about it.
Jotunheim has 2 provinces, no capitol or pretender, and it will be ridiculous to look for a sub for a race that will be dead in 2-3 turns.

Re: missed turns
Actually that can be the best time to look for a sub.
Someone who hasnt tried MP games can get a taste of it without worrying about how well they will show since they can either die off (as expected) or do something surprising.

Can't argue with that, except facetiously.

Re: missed turns
We have never had "turn due in xx hours" notices in this game, even when Velusion was hosting. There is a status page you can check, if you don't feel like logging in to see how much time is left.
