How do I......
Question, I have, for the first time, discovered the equipment for building a ringworld. The thing is that I don't have anything big enough to carry the required components. What does it take to build one of these things?  |

You'll need mobile space yards to build 5 starbases with grave plate and 5 with hyper cable. 1 with the actual ringworld generator for a total of 11. That's three different starbases you'll have to design and build. They must be built in the same hex/square that the sun is in. Thus the reason for a mobile SY.

One mobile spaceyard is all that is nessasary at start, if you do 'Von Neuman' building.

That is because I fixed it 
By the way:
The preceding advice applies to both SE4 and SE5. The only difference being how close you can get to the star before you start building, since SE5 has a no-go zone in the 7 hexes around a star.
