Re: New EA game: DeadlyMedley
Sorry. I've never used the CBM before so I'm not about to learn the details in an MP game. I get the impression that there isn't a consolidated, reliable, up to date version of it right now anyway, so I'm hesitant to mess with it in SP either.

Re: DeadlyMedley resend Pretenders.
I'd like to request we go to 48 hr hosting, as i'm losing internet connectivity at the place i'm staying (the guy got into an argument w/ his provider, and so cancelled everything ;p), and won't have my own until I go back in Sept.
I can manage 48 hr turns, but 24 is just too tight, as everything is dependent upon my getting to some internet cafe etc...
otherwise, I'll try and look for a sub, but as I'm in a very difficult war w/ aby, i'm not sure if i'll find takers. and going AI would suck, as there have been 3 already

Re: DeadlyMedley resend Pretenders.
Will set it to 48 hours now.
In other news, TC just stalled for the 2nd time in a row. I'm PM'ing him.

All,
My brother will be subbing for my next turn or two. I'll be back Wed (CST).

Re: DeadlyMedley - running
I'm out of town this weekend, any chance for a hold? I will be able to do a turn Sunday night.

More details, please. Do you mean hold from now until Sunday night? Sunday you will be back?

Re: DeadlyMedley - running
llamaserver seems partly down... not updating. i suggest the turn be halted for the nonce... at least until we figure out what is going on. If I'm forced to stale a very nice war will be ruined

Did it not accept your turn? I see that you and another player are the only ones remaining without turns. If it accepts your turns, great. If not, it shouldn't run till tomorrow, anyway. In that case I'll delay it in the morning.

Re: DeadlyMedley - running
Micah claims that he's seen this before and everything is working fine on the back-end. However, when I submitted my turn to artifacts there was no reply mail nor was the status updated on the web-page. As you can see, all the games are stuck on "Last Updated 16:15 GMT".
so, i have no idea myself. I'll submit my turn before the deadline, but it won't tell us one way or the other... until the turn hosts.
however, isn't their some way to roll back a turn using the admin options for the game? that way, if worst comes to worst, it'll be salvagable and we can just go ahead as normal based on the assumption that things will work out
