Re: Mini Torpedoes Away!
When I get some more free time, I'll go through the beams and see if I can help clear up any problems or make a few new ones.

Re: Mini Torpedoes Away!
Although the imagemod submission thread has fallen into the wasteland of old threads, new submissions are always welcome.
On those APBs, I was hoping for a sparkly beam type of weapon; interstellar dust and whatnot flashing as it bumps into the beam. That type of thing.
As you can see, the sparkles didn't pan out for me.

Re: Mini Torpedoes Away!
I have all sorts of neat filters and crap with Photoshop...I'll see if I can get those space dust sparkles sparkling.

Re: Mini Torpedoes Away!
The hardest part is cramming them into a 8x5 or so window.
Refer to the test pattern I made, (red & green boxy shape dots)
The red boxed area appears at the tip of the beam, while the green boxed area gets tiled to form the body.
Black pixels are not drawn, so if your tip is wider then the beam, you may find it appears to tile as well. Fill out the beam zone with almost-black to fix that.
