I just tried to connect with the server to send in my turn, and got "waiting for information." Never could connect.

Yeah, that's why this post has had this title for several days now. I started getting the hang last turn.
It's the dreaded "waiting for game info hang" It's quite common on IP servers with the last few versions of the game. Velusion knew how to fix it, but no one else seems to.
Anyway, the work-around is to open the game in a window (-w), leave that hung window open, then open the game again in a second window. You can then log into the game normally. When you get done, close out the hung window.
