I think he more specifically meant Polypal Spawns. It's hard to say where an Aboleth reaches maturity, they seem to kind of evolve to more complex forms at various stages in their life. But as Polyps, we can definitively call them "children" still, and there's no room for debate. Beyond that, it's a mystery to human scholars.

I've been experimenting with them (1 cup baking soda, 1 cup vinegar and 15 giboleths... ) . If you can mass a bunch in the back they can really do some damage to approaching forces. The mind blast is 100 range, 100 precision, and 10 "scanner" ammo tries. Even better than arrows because it doesn't hit your units, doesn't care about armor and it paralyzes. What's not to love? On the down side the only way to get them on the beach is to GoR and equip them with a Amulet of the fish (not very gem efficient). Thank you all for the feedback.
