I know i just mind hunted a couple in Kingmaker. Either I passed the mr check or it does not work on death spells. It does not work on enslave either unless my mage passed the mr check on bv 2 about 7 times.

				 Re: Blood Vengeance 101 v.1.1
I did some BV testing several weeks back, mostly to see how high I could get it.
-The blood vengeance spell does not stack with existing BV, instead the caster simply casts a different spell.

-The Flesh Ward actually grants a +2 bonus to BV. Those units without BV get only +1 because the first bonus is used in granting them the ability. This is consistent with how awe and fear stack.

-Paralyze damage does not trigger BV as far as I know.

What about trampling? I've got some Angels of Fury, and my opponent has some elephants. |

I would say give it a go. What have you got to lose? They cannot do any worse than the harbinger. muhahahahahha.

Actually Admiral is a very very good player. I am just giving him a hard time. He has taken half my empire. I was surprised the awe on the harbinger seemed to have so little effect on the elephants as well.

Heh, thank you for the kind words Xietor. I couldn't resist trying for your elephants; I hoped the combination of Awe + Fear + HeartSeeker would let the angel massacre the entire herd. Unfortunately, your Sleeper put a quick end to that Angel's career. I suppose the lesson here is to do a bit more scouting before sending your thugs off to face enemy armies. |

Someone chain cast Paralyze on a Vastness of mine some time back. Out of a million casts, at least 2 stuck on the Vastness, and none of his casters got Paralyzed.

Who was that again? |

Thanks once again for bring up that painful memory . But yes, that is exactly how I know that paralyze doesn't bounce... yet mind blast does. Sigh...

Eh, I'm just kidding. It wasn't all that painful as I'm sure you had expected to win that battle by a much larger margin. |

Any updates on the above post? It was a compilation of anecdotal reports, but would be nice to clarify / confirm. |
