Should just have a measurement like a chess rating. Everyone starts with 1000. You gain more by beating better opponents. And by surviving later into a game or something.

Worse idea ever.

I mean, before the web admins of this very site got their act together and fixed the permissions I was privileged to see the moderator comment on my profile of "K is a douchebag sometimes."

So yeh. Any ranking system is automatically deceptive and hurtful, and it won't actually accomplish anything. "Winning" a game of Dominions is more often a matter of having a friend who's playing the same game and not about fine discriminations of skill.

Blech ... "Surviving late into a game" can be pretty lame. Get your 15 indy provinces, NAP with all your neighbors, and sit back building castles while someone else goes and conquers the world? Boring!
