I would at the moment (be against that is). Still getting turns off in a couple hours tops, even while fighting two wars (granted one is against the AI).

I would also be against changing the interval. Even with the micromanagement of all my blood hunters I still find turns take less than an hour to complete.

and i'm against 72h, but if it's that or a nation staling, i'd do it.
