You really should look at submitting this to a publisher when it's done. For that matter maybe Shrapnel would publish it.

You are up over 80,000 words now. In paperback novel form you would be around 320 pages. Decent length already and you aren't even done yet. It's truely going to be an epic before it's finished.

The average page in a paperback book has about 400 to 500 words on it.

Lets say for arguement that each page requires about 500 words.

88,000 words divided by 500 = 176 pages. The average paper back is about 400 pages.

Sachmo you might have a series on your hands.

To bad the rest of us who write don't get together and update our stories. Think of it, 5 or so seperate stories dealing with SE IV in general for Shrapnel to peddle as Books. Ohhhh that would be sweet, that is being published.

The thing is the market for stories like this is a nitch one. But I would buy your book.

Thanks guys. I don't know what I'm going to do with this story, or even what I could do with it when it's done. Really I just like writing the story and hearing from those who are reading it. If Shrapnel wanted to do something with it, I wouldn't be opposed to that. But it would need some major rewriting if they wanted to use it to represent their product.

ok, first off, i don't want to be a critic. second, some of these stories could be sold. third, none of them are quite up to what i expect from something i'd buy. need more polish. fourth, i am picky. fifth, if you want real critisism, find an editer. sixth, the people doing the stories do have talent.
