 | Maplandia has a "terrain" button that shows contours. | yes - a pseudo 3D showing of the bumpy bits. Useful for visualising terrain, but not proper contour lines unfortunately.

The University of Texas Perry-Castañeda Library has a number of maps world wide, some military reference with contour lines.http://lib.utexas.edu/maps/ |

				 Re: MAPS!
While toying around with some scenario designs, I created a 160x160 map of Keuruu, Finland. It turned out pretty OK so I decided to share it.
The map is a mix of dense uninhabited woods, a small town of roughly 10 000 inhabitants and large bodies of water. Best suited for scenario design or human vs human battles, as the computer tends to get confused with the large lakes restricting movement.

 Occupies map slot 325.

				 Re: MAPS!
I've used this for my MRR, I thought it might be of some use here for you design types. It covers the U.S. but you might find other areas from this site.http://forestry.about.com/od/forestr...Cover_Type.htm
