Default Re: Loading small vehicles into big helicopters

I remember seeing the big Iraqi Army helicopters when I was over there, some kind of gigantic, probably Russian-built thing. The undersides were painted blue and the belly had a big Iraqi flag painted on it. The cargo bay was massive, and had a DShK hanging out of it. Looked like you could have parked a Bradley in it. I always wondered what those things were.

I believe you're referring to the Mi-26 HALO currently the worlds largest heavy lift helo. It could easily hold 2 fully loaded JACKAL's internally to stay on topic or 80 heavy troops or a 100 light troops. Try in the support point buy section buying a couple of them from the Allie section and see how it works maybe?

The heavy lift champ was the BOEING XCH-62 of which only one was built and our friends from across the pond can see it at the helicopter museum in Somerset, England. And it did get beyond a mockup.

Thanks for the distraction from the list.
