Re: TDM Modpack
First let me say I am fairly new to this game. I have a question about Mod’s in general. I understand the basic principle, you drop a mod in change the “path.txt” to point to this Mod and the game uses the stats/values of the Mod. Now I have read about the Proportions Mod the TDM Mod and some others.
1. Can you put more then one Mod in play/use at a time?
2. The TDM Mod sounds like a basic Mod to the AI is this correct and if so does it change the basic script of the game?
3. If the answer to #1 is no, how can TDM be put into use with any other MOD?
Thanks

Re: TDM Modpack
1) Yes and No. See below.
2) TDM changes the AI's scripts, race setups, and various other settings.
3) TDM can be used with many of the mods available, but not all.
How to Merge Mods.
- If the mods do not use the same files, such as TDM, and P&N classic, then simply installing both into the same modfolder will do.
- If the mods conflict by making changes to the smae files, you can try walking through both files plus the original files, and picking out the items that have been changed or added.
- Some mods are fundamentally incompatible, and cannot be merged.
- Some mods may not use the same files, but can still be incompatible. TDM + a "Humans Only" mod, for example.
For P&N + TDM in particular, I have written an AI-patcher program to make the nessesary changes.

Re: TDM Modpack
I checked AI for Minbari and Centauri (the standard SE Versions) and they are pre-Gold. Does anybody have Gold Versions ? If not, are the authors working on update ? If not, there surely should be volunteers to improve them to TDM level.
Ravenhand, TDM = better AI for default SE IV. It can be used with other mods exactly in same way as standart SE AI. Tt is all different in each particular case. Better to consult mod authors

Eh? judging by Hershey Bars, I thought Americans loved dark chocolate - are you sure you work in a chocolate factory

The standard Hershey bar is not "dark" chocolate, it's only "milk" chocolate.
Hershey's brand of dark chocolate is called "Hershey's Special Dark".
I have heard chocolate connoisseurs complain that Hershey ruined Americans' taste in chocolate.

Re: TDM Modpack
Hershey's is the Microsoft of the chocolate business. To put things in perspective....
I work for Russell Stover Candies. We are the #1 seller of Boxed Chocolates (you know, like you give to your significant other, or the kind that Forrest Gump's mom always talked about. In fact, that was the brand of candies he had, if I'm not mistaken...). A while back, Hersheys kind of half-heartedly did a test to see if they could break into the boxed chocolate market. (Hershey's Pot of Gold, or some such thing). As a result, my factory recently came out of a 4 month layoff. (which my seniority spared me from).
I hate Hershey's. Of coarse, I'm not real fond of any chocolate anymore...
