Occasionally he will go ahead and release something and then give us an 'update' afterwards, though. But since there has been no official announcement that I know of committing MM and Shrapnel to issuing a patch by a specific deadline, I suspect Geo's guess is the more likely to be correct.
Originally posted by geoschmo: If he follows pattern the beta team will get another patch any day now and then assuming we find nothing wrong with it it will be released to the public a few days later. This Last beta patch was going to be the official release, and that was what he was basing his "About a week" estimates on. But a rather funky mine damage bug creeped into it and needed to be squished.
Director, go ahead and start a game now. But make it one that everyone agrees before hand to upgrade as soon as possible when the new patch comes out.

Thanks for the update - we certainly don't need ANOTHER mine damage bug (I think I saw something posted about that - each warhead was multiplying damage instead of adding damage, right?)
And when I said "start a new game" if the patch takes too long: I meant I'd go play Baldur's Gate or something like that until the SE4G patch comes out...
