These are the 88mm anti-tank guns carried by the gun tractors, and the designer is giving you a hint...

You should also check the penetration data for your guns and ammo with APCalc, if you have not already done so.

Basically - your tanks should manoeuvre to get flank shots on Grants.

Much obliged Andy. APCalc was news to me, and what a marvelous feature it is! Didn't realize how drastically AP and (especially) sabot effectiveness go down as range increases. Another revelation from this marvelous game system.
