You also might find the Thread " game Preference settings" by DRG useful on Page 2 the 9th item down from the top in this Forum. Don asked simply, if players deviate from the default 100% game settings and if so what they use and why with many responses from the players. I found the exercise useful myself concerning artillery settings. You might find this useful given the nature of your question.
