I ran it... had animation level to the max. I tried BMP units B1 and E4 and neither fired an ATGM when I fired at their only target ( the unit in the repair yard.) I then tried D6 and it did

I can only assume in that instance the code saw the house as a hard target and it worked as there were casualties but Andy will need to run it through de-bugging to know why

I am glad you saw it. I would hate for this to be like the funny sound your car makes that stops as soon as you take it to the mechanic.

Some interesting variables to test would be:

1. Does this only occur if the target is in cover?

2. Does this only occur when the firing unit has an ATGM as its second weapons system? I have only seen this with Bradleys and BMPs. I have never seen it happen with a Jaguar or a Tow jeep.


3. Is this unique to vehicle launched ATGMs or will infantry ATGMs do it too? I have never seen this.

4. Does the experience level of the firing unit make this more likely?

it almost was. E6 was the last one I tried on the second go through
