I too have a head injury. Small part of my skull fractured and was pressed towards brain tissue causing minor internal bleeding. In my experience it will never be the same again, something changes permanently and there might be symptoms rest of injured persons life which might be hard to detect like mood swings for no apparent reason. How i have found out adapting meditative practices and philosophies especially can help people with head injuries. To cope with these symptoms and take distance to the thoughts that might surface because of the physical damage related transformation. Then not leading to take unwanted action. This kind of struglle can be on daily basis and it might not go away. Just need to learn live with the problem and make the best of life.
