Every so often in an attempt to squeeze every Last kt out of a design I will forget to put engines on my ships or fighters and then wonder why a newly build ship has no supplies.

Oh hell yea! Best was when I forgot to put engines on my drones...I launched them and they more or less instantly exploded from lack of supplies.
