Re: OT- The Two Towers
I really missed Tom Bombadil and wife. While sooooo many folks look on the whole episode as not fitting or not being necessar, I thought it was a bright spot in the dark story of LOTR. Unfortunately, they had to make cuts/changes, and I appreciate what they did to make the movie as good as it was. I look forward to the next 2 installments, faulty though they may be. Good entertainment is sooooo hard to find, and at least the 3hour movie is worth the $9-$10 US per ticket.
Cheers!

Re: OT- The Two Towers
the added sections deal with galadrial and the gifts she gave the fellowship and a few other extra scenes that havent been discussed as far as I am aware.

Oh, I was hoping for some car chases, tense shootouts in dockside warehouses and exploding helicopters. A Hollywood film just isn't a Hollywood film without car chases, tense shootouts in dockside warehouses and exploding helicopters.
And I still can't figure out which one of those hobbits was the tough, living-on-the-edge loner cop with a personal vendetta and a problem with authority. I thought it might be Merry, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help?

Re: OT- The Two Towers
I bet that we will see Kheled-zâram, the sea in which Durins Crown rests. You can see that they are walking toward a sea after Moria and look into it but it is cut before they can speak a word.
