Unable to get the SEIV Launcher working.

I use Eudora on one of my mavhines and I'm sure I must have had it running with the mod launcher before.

It's too bad really that mod did look interesting to me,but the launcher is FUBARED.

The Launcher defenitly works with 1.78.

The problem sounds to me more like it could be something in the mod itself. What Version of the mod are using? And where did you get it from?

Yeah, I downloaded Fyron'sQuadMod 1.14 from there and don't seem to have a problem. And I am using 1.78 and the Mod picker.

The error you are getting, not being able to load settings.txt, sounds like it would be a problem with that file. Perhaps it got corrupted or something. Maybe try deleting the mod folder and redownloading the mod again.

Shame I missed all this.
I've never had my mod launcher called "FUBARED" before

If you do get an error message along the lines of

Quote:

Unable to load data file
"c:\space empires iv gold\fyronsquadrantmod\data\settings.txt"

then it really does mean it can't load the datafile from the mod specified and you should try to reinstall the mod.

As for conflicts with Eudora? I run Eudora myself and have not had any issues with it... or SE4/Eudora conflicts.
