How long does it take?

Perhaps I should have the major ones divided up into 5 files or so...

My conn speed was 31200 and the D/L took 1 hr was not to bad, I do need to get my download speeder installed (dosen't help speed but to start from where you drop off helps

)

mottlee, ok. How about the drivers? Do any of your nieghbors have a computer w/modem? If so you might check to see if it is the line. Sorry, for being a butinski. No one should have to u/l - d/l at 32K.

No it is not the drivers and not the phone line the comp ID's it and puts Com 2 to it and I can not use com 2 for modem and I forget how to change it to com 3, I did have it working before (2 years ago) was going to give it another go ot see If I can "Jog" my mind (what there is of it

)

The best modem I ever had was a 56k v90 US Robotics External modem.
With an external there are no hardware conflicts.
I may still have it around if you need it.
