Atrocities Star Trek Mod (ASTmod) UPDATED 2-9-04

Atrocities, I love the Mod but i've got a nagging problem:

The pictures for about 1/4 of the Planets/Moons/Stars don't display on the main Solar System map. They just show up as black squares. When you actually click on the black spot (you can only tell something is there when you've got the "Show Planet Names" Option enabled) then the picture of the planet appears under the detailed screen.

Any idea how to correct this?

I've installed the the 3 Image Packs you recommended and installed the System files from the Fyron Mod too. I did get some "CRC" errors from the AST mod while extracting it though. Could that be the culprit?

Again though, I love the Mod so far

I'm running the existing UFP race and have run into the Hirogen, Sona, and Vulcans so far. I'm pretty sure I selected the "Medium" option for opponent number but the game is calculating moves for 16 races so I guess the gang's all there (A Large Dense Map might have something to do with it too

I have the identical black planet problem; no problems extracting either the mod or the latest planet pack, though. Problems not confined to any one type of planet, although several were the Irradiated "size."

Reinstall the Planet Pack of the image mod and see if that helps. I recommend installing the Image Mod into the default pictures folders, to reduce redundancy. It does not affect the normal game in the slightest. Also, did you rename "NewPlanets.bmp" to "Planets.bmp"? That is the most probable cause of the problem you are having.

Ok, I feel stupid now. I was posting this same problem a week ago, when I thought, "Did I rename the NewPlanets.bmp to Planets.bmp?" And, lo and behold, I hadn't, and that fixed the problem. Of course, I didn't remember that when I posted this time.

Thank you Fyron for helping them out. I truly appreciate all that you have done for me, and I love your Quadrant Mod. Best fun I have had yet with SEIV.
