He just forgot to update the message. We're waiting for finalization of Pablomatic's (TNN) replacement.

Re: Countdown - Sub Needed - Dominant Position
I think the players have been super sportsman to agree to wait.
++1 to all of you, and to Sam for agreeing to sub.
Still it seems to be the consensus to wait. So when pablo gets back he'll have to give me his email address.
Sam, stay on hold until we confirm one way or another.
And message fixed = )

Game returned to hoplo, and 24 hours added to timer to allow him to get reaquainted to the position.

Re: Countdown - Sub Needed - Dominant Position
My apologies to everyone for the long delay and problems. I did get 2 sub offers after I left town, but I was away from civilization for 8 days, and had no way of knowing.
I am unclear whether you have waited for me? If someone has taken over Tir and wants to continue, I'm fine with that, but if y'all have waited for me to return, I will continue.
I want to be a respectful player, so let me know what you want. I am now available to hopefully play this out with only short interruptions.

Re: Countdown - Sub Needed - Dominant Position
From Pablomatic's post requesting a sub (see the link below) he indicates that he is open to the idea of turning over the game permanently. If that is indeed the case, I would be happy to do so. But, for now, I will hold off sending in my turn until he confirms that is what he wants done.

(This submission is slightly late).

Re: Countdown - Sub Needed - Dominant Position
As for my current state, I think next time, I'll have to take better scales. I'm pretty sure the Heat-3 Scale killed my income. Unlike other Arco builds I've used, this one didn't have enough money to buy units and castles, and I was unable to purchase my usual continuous stream of Oreaids.
I'm not saying I'm out, but Marverni has a lot of troops including several very large water armies. If you don't attack him, he'll start claiming all the VPs and win very quickly.

Re: Countdown - Sub Needed - Dominant Position
Marverni once again solemnly pledges not to declare VPs until such a time it has proven itself worthy by defeating all major adversaries first.
The Stone Circle
PS - are we still looking for a sub? If not, the thread title might be misleading.

Which is the point of what I said. If you don't attack him soon... if you allow him to consume me entirely (my holdings are substantial), he will be in that position immediately following my demise.
