Re: Asia Twist (Wraparound)
Nice one!
About scandinavia: it's more Sweden than scandinavia! (EDIT: OK it is a bit of denmark and Finland as well).
Anyone who didn't recognize Sweden is hereby commanded to quit all current games and start a new one on this map. In the south we have the county of Skåne, with Malmö as largest city, where I live. Further to the north lies the lake Vänern, Swedens biggest lake. On the northern side of Vänern lies Karlstad, where I grew up. East of Karlstad and Vänern by the coast of Östersjön (Baltic Sea) lies Stockholm, capital of Sweden.
Once you have absorbed this you can have a license to play dominions again!

/me is keeping the fingers crossed, that now Pashadawg steps forward and admits that he really just modeled the map after a gigantic turd.

Re: Asia Twist (Wraparound)
Are you guys serious, or is all of this just some strange inside-joke I don't get?
I didn't think I'd ever see any map, or part of a map, compared to feces in these forums.
On lighter note: Kristoffer's post rocks! I especially love how he gave "nationalism" as the reason for the edited of his post.

Re: Asia Twist (Wraparound)
Thanks a ton Pasha!
I'm really enjoying this map in SP (while the llamaserver is dead). Especially the caves, there aren't a lot of maps with caves so it's cool to have a chance to play them.

Re: Asia Twist (Wraparound)
Yes. I like to use a chain of caves as an alternative way to travel around the map... perhaps as a way to surprise an enemy.
Disclaimer: no turds were exploited in the making of this map.

Thank you, Herode.
I don't know if Llama has added the map to his list. I will ask him.

Added to the LlamaServer.
As a matter of fact, anyone can do this. There is an option just underneath the map browser on the LlamaServer. However, I have a sneaky suspicion it doesn't work under windows (I use linux). I really should boot into windows and test it some time.

Re: Asia Twist (Wraparound) - UPDATED 11/22/08
Thanks llama !
BTW, I tried with no success to upload the map under Windows (Vista...) + Firefox. Maybe the .rgb file is too big ?
I have an Ubuntu boot but I seldom use it, I didn't try in this environment...

Re: Asia Twist (Wraparound) - UPDATED 11/22/08
Okay yeah, the error you got was really strange, but then again not having tested it under windows (or especially under Vista, which I don't have), I guess I can't say much about it!
