...Probably because I included the wrong image file in the second .zip The .tga in the first .zip, riverlands_for_ropebridge.tga, is correct, so use that one. I'll put together a package with the correct image and .map file together in one when I get home, but in order to play the game all you'll need is riverlands_for_ropebridge.tga from the first zip.

Have you e-mailed your pretender to pretendersATllamserverDOTnet?
Marignon should show up once you have done so.

Yup, just what the reverend said! Nations show up on that list after their pretender has been submitted to llamaserver.
llamabeast wrote an excellent faq linked from http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=35160 - it should cover just about any questions you have (esp. parts 1 & 2).

It's turn 3 and I already see an enemy dominion candle.
How far away exactly did you place each capitol from one another?

Re: The Rope Bridge, any-skill MA (uploading pretenders)
There are at least four provinces between every land capital (ie, cap0-prov1-prov2-prov3-prov4-cap5), and at least two between any water start and any land start. Sounds like you may have an awake pretender to deal with!

Re: The Rope Bridge, any-skill MA (uploading pretenders)
Up! This thread is far too quiet.
A number of parchments are delivered to the free nations of the world, carried by lobotomized Atlanteans, former members of a once proud race. The parchments are sealed with a sigil in the form of a trident:
"Smart commanders should stay clear from the waters, 'cos the seas are dark, and filled with terrors"
The slaves leave without waiting for an answer.

And that which is dead may not die, unless it tries to come upon land, where it will be stuck full of pointy monkey arrows.
