On the subject, I'd like to see every pretender #onebattlespell divine blessing and fanaticism. It'd be pretty thematic if all your sacred units strolling into battle alongside your pretender were immediately blessed, and everyone was given a huge morale boost by virtue of the fact that they were fighting alongside the horrible monster that they worship.

Also dominion should totally give a blessing just like the magic paths do, I'd love to see buying dominion 9 giving your sacred units something like awe or an hp boost or something.

Do bless strats really need another buff? It would be kinda cool, but still seems a little ridiculous.

I don't agree with the Dominion buff. I think Dominion does enough as it is, giving Pretenders extra HP etc. and spreading Dominion faster.

What I want are new types of Bless/more Bless strategies, for the sake of variety, and because "more and different" can be a good thing.

I wouldn't want new Blesses to be more powerful than what we've already got, just different-for the sake of different strategies and builds.

Yeah, more variety in blesses could be very cool. The usual tired old W9, F9, or E9 blesses start to get a bit repetitive.

That calls for boosting the other blesses, rather than introducing yet more blesses. Variety is not always good if the choices gathered from greater variety represent trash.

The old blesses are fine, there's no reason or need to boost them.

Making things that already work more powerful, just to make them more powerful, is just inflation.

It's just after using the same ones for 100 times in a row (or more), they do start feeling a little constrictive-especially since we tend to use the same ones, and the same combinations, over and over again.

Well, I don't think there's any reason you can't both strengthen the lesser used blesses and maybe add some new ones. This is ignoring the amount of work involved of course, but thats not really something you can measure.

The "lesser" blesses-air, death, blood, sometimes astral (arguably the weakest, but also one of the most commonly used)-are offset by the power of those respective paths, and the advantage of having a high level caster in those paths.

That argument is probably true for all of those paths except air in my opinion. As far as I know there really aren't very many good spells for high level air, and the bless is pretty useless except for some niche strats like the one involving Kailasa.
