Arf, look at my yesterday's thread "comments and rumblings from a new player", the highest authorities here discussed just that point

In a nutshell, each set of 3 lines says :
Line 1 = nr of pop for following effect to occur
line 2 = % modifier of resources prod for that nr of pop
line 3 = % modifier for Startyards construction rate for that nr of pop
At first the count of modifier is given to the program.
So in unmodded game there are 12 "levels", with 0-99 M people giving 100%/100% modifier, and 10 B+ pop giving 200%/200%

These numbers are highly unrealistic-looking, and are modified in some mods, say Proportions

Well, for me 1 Billion = 1000 M, but well I'm French so in fact 1000 M is a "Milliard" ... What do Englishmen think of that ?

Non, nous travaillons en metrique depuis plusieurs annees. Nos inginieurs utilisent les metres et nos supermarches les kilos. Ceux qui ne le font pas seront punis!

Oui, je ne sais pas le defendre. Si un pays aussi conscient de sa propre identite que la France peut se somettre a la monnaie unique, nous en pouvons aussi.

Cependent, de mon avis les francais ont adopte l'Euro seulement pour irriter les americains=-)

Notre probleme ici dans le Royaume Unis est que nous ne pouvons pas decider si nous sommes plus proche aux cultures Europeans ou a la "culture" americain. On voie qu'aux Etats Unis ils parlent (presque) la meme langue que nous et on ne peut que se familiarise avec son maniere de vie universellement exporte. Donc il est facile a immaginer qu'ils sont le meme que nous, mais ce n'est pas vrai.

J'ai habite en France et en Italie et pour moi c'est clair que nous (les anglais) avons beaucoup plus en commun avec eux. Il y seulement l'obstacle de langue.

En fait, ceux qui conduisent a la gauche sont la majorite! Seulement les americains et quelques pays en Europe sont au droit. L'asie, L'australie, L'amerique de Sud et l'Afrique sont de notre cote=-)
