Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
ROFL I cast 3 Ghost riders against one of Arco's armies this turn just to soften them up before my real army attacked...
Arco had about 20+ troops on the field including a few elephants at the end of the battle where I only had one wraith lord with 3 hit points left and Arco Routed. If they had not routed I'd have lost for sure within the next round or so.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
I still can't figure out how to beat those Sirrush. Everyone tells me, heh, Sirrush, they are easy to beat. But when they embedded in a host of undead, it's damn hard to get to them. Hat off to you on them, Psi. If I could kill off all the undead quickly, I could get to them with my Tarts.
Heh, well. Need to find a better battle plan.

Sirrush are easy to kill... But I'm not using any. I think you mean Tarrasque.

OK, not too bad. Lost a little ground, and a Heli, but nothing I cannot recover. Need a little help here though, Arco.

Arco is probably saying the same thing to you.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
I dont know who wished for Armageddon, but if it happens again, I'm casting Utterdark.
And considering that I have Gift of Health and it wont affect my Mage's as much as it will my cannonfodder troops that would be bad for the both of you.

Oh, it won't happen again. Just needed to try and get those numbers of undead down a bit, and maybe knock out some gem gen holders. I see that you still have maxed out troop numbers though, even after the armageddon. Amazing.
Of course, Armageddon only potentially takes out 20% of the troops. Still, I did hope for some drop on the graphs.

I would say that all in all the armageddon maybe killed roughly one turns worth of reanimated undead maybe a bit more, certainly no more than two turns worth at the very most.

Re: MA Newbie game - Faltering_Steps - Running
Actually, Come to think of it... Armageddon is lowering your Income just like Utterdark would more or less.. So go ahead cast away with all of em ya want.
I did notice that I lost one mage to the Armageddon. In the new army I was building I had 18 of one type of mage and now I have 17 so I lost about one out of 20 maybe.
It looks like you took a huge income hit from it though and didnt gain much at all especially considering I dont need income for my troops. Not to mention the damper it probably would put on your blood hunting.
