Wow, those Mermidons pack quite a punch. Look at the damage they do in my thumbnail shot. I hope that was a good part of his army because they were really nasty. Good thing Lobos are expendable.

I constantly researched the wrong things. Maybe it would've been more even if I had had the slightest idea what I was up to

It would seem that the creatures of Mictlan live up to bakemono accounts of their savagery -- no attempts at communication, no formal declaration of war, merely a wholly unprovoked act of unbridled aggression.

The empire shall respond accordingly. This shall not be a war, it shall be pest control. By imperial decree, these howling brutes shall be exterminated to the last man, woman and child.

Looks like we're about to see our first elimination this turn. Goodbye, Grudgebringer, it was nice having you! Please send me all your gems and gold before dying, and don't forget to wreck your lab on the way out!

the peacible vannish folk condemn the unwarranted agression by the pythian eunuchs against our fellow skin-wearing neighbours to the west. Without provocation, and after we had politely left the way open, having no suspicion that the cold-eyed communards would so crassly take advantage of the situation, the senilarchy of pyth has attempted the brute extermination of the forest dwelling jaguar people.

We wish to assure all, however, that previous pyth insults to our lord and liege, the most furious one, had no part in what, to us, is a purely altruistic defense of our skin-wearer brethren.

We, of course, remain open to a diplomatic solution to this crisis; as long as certain guarantees of mictish sovereignty are maintained.

Your campaign of misinformation is for nought, Vannish knave. The border incident with Mictlan is long since resolved, revealed as nothing but an honest mistake on the part of these naturalistic simpletons who have yet to perfect the fine art of mapmaking.

Pythium is the only people in this equation that has yet to violate the sovereignty of another nation's borders. However, it is no secret that the barbarians of Vanheim have long lusted after the riches of the islands, and now they have revealed their avarice in full.

The Vannish invasion of Pythium is an unsupported war of aggression and a war of blame beyond dispute. They shall be swiftly beaten back by the free peoples of the world, and there shall be no quarter given to the elven overlords who have driven their human servants to war under false premises.

It is a supreme irony to hear honeyed promises of peace from your liar's tongue, craven beast. There can be no resolution to this conflict until the golden hall of Vanheim lies stricken, reduced to ash and rubble.

Take care, Dectilon! Oceania is really not easy to do well with, though they're quite interesting. Unfortunately, R'lyeh isn't too hard to play in the early game, and is incredibly dangerous.

Better luck in the next one!
